Beer Stew Recipe

  1.          Measure        Ingredient
    ------ -------        --------------------------------
       3    pounds        beef round, cubed and trimmed
       6    medium        potato, large dice
       8    medium        tomato, crushed
       1    each            bell pepper, chopped
       1    head            cabbage, chopped
       8    each            carrot, sliced
       2    each             onion, chopped
       1    tablespoon    garlic, minced
       1    bunch            celery, sliced

Put all items in a pot and cover with beer, rest 8 hours in refrigerator.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook until meat is tender, approx. 2 hours.
Season to taste.
