Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

  1.  Measure                Ingredient
    ------        -------        --------------------------------
      1            cup        butter
      2            cups        flour
      2            cups        sugar
      2            tablespoons    baking powder
      2            teaspoons    salt
    1 1/3        cups        milk
     32    ounces        frozen blackberries, thawed

Melt butter in 9x13" pan.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine rest of ingredients except the fruit and mix well.  
Pour batter over the butter in the pan and spoon the fruit over the batter evenly.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes until golden.
To convert this to use peaches, pears or apples, use 3 cups of sugar.
